Interaction Design (IxD) focuses on improving User experiences (UX) by enhancing the user interface (UI) between humans and other humans as well as humans and technological systems. The ability to produce ecologically responsible products, services, systems and settings is contingent on interaction designers' ability to strategize and design and successfully integrate both cognitive and physical interfaces. In future, it will develop rapidly because of its increasing application in the social and business environment.
IxD is highly socio-research intensive and most of the designed products as an outcome of IxD are software-based, such as websites or application software. It encompasses everything from the buttons on a remote control to the layout of a website. As the world becomes increasingly digitised, the need for interaction designers who can create seamless and intuitive experiences are only going to grow. User research, personas, heuristic evaluation, information architecture, wire framing, design tools, rapid prototyping, usability evaluation, and design communication will be among the topics covered. The students will understand and apply user-centred design practises.
The creation of solutions with the intention of assisting users in accomplishing their goals in the most effective manner possible is the objective of Interaction Design. Digital innovation will continue to transform human life in the years to come. We will see more digital innovative interactions, Artificial Intelligence (AI) in our everyday lives, including in our homes, workplaces and vehicles including more Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR and VR) technology being used in a variety of settings in our daily life. Digital and physical interaction design will become increasingly important as we seek to create seamless experiences across the real and digital world. And as the Internet of Things (IoT) continues to grow, we will see more devices and appliances connected to the internet, allowing us to control them remotely.
